I used to enjoy moving house. I’m one of those weirdo who loves to pack but this time I’m hating it. We’re trying to rent somewhere and can we find anywhere … no! And it’s not as if we’re not trying, I have no idea how many houses or flats we’ve applied for. And everytime their either already let or they chose a different applicant. Which you know is a pain but we’ve got a roof over our head right. But for how long. Seems everyone is pretty intent on pushing us out on the street just so they can get this place sold. Nice to know of such caring compansionate people.
We’ve been looking since January with no luck. We’ve even started moving stuff out and putting it in to storage but all people involved in this sale seem to think we’re just sitting back and waiting for the sale to fall through. Yes totally thats why we’ve gutted one bedroom to fill with boxes and also emptied Bella’s play room. Half her toys are packed and the other half are in my living room because of not knowing when we’ll be able to move I refuse to deprive my child of toys.
This has all had a huge effect on my mental health … not that anyone cares. My anxiety is through the roof, my sleep is completely screwed, my narcolepsy has got worse. The doctors have upped my anxiety meds but that feels like it’s no longer working. I don’t see the point in going to counselling. It’s a case of my life is completely out of my control and there’s nothing I can do short of pitching a tent in a field and saying sod it we’ll live here and chuck everything in storage or burn it.
If anyone has any tips on how to relieve stress I’ll be very grateful. I mean wine is slightly helping at the moment but I’d rather not become an alcoholic.
I thought I might as well document this chaos for anyone else going through the same rubbish experience and also so I can just let out all my stress somewhere. Not a great come back to the blog but hey its a comeback lol.
*I didn’t realise this blog was actually complete I just hadn’t added the photos and then everything went down hill so please enjoy*
Tuesday 8th December 2020 – Nightmare trip to town
I did not want to wake up this morning. I mean at all. I am exhausted at the moment. I’m struggling to stay awake or find the energy to do things but I can’t let that stop me. Bella woke up like usual very early but I could not find the energy to get out of bed. Luckily I knew Liam was downstairs and I ended up dozing back off until 10am. I was still tired when I woke up but I guessed I should try and drag myself downstairs.
Bella was happily watching Netflix when I made it downstairs and we cuddled up on the sofa together so I could still doze on and off.
As the day went on I told Bella we needed to head into town. That was going to be interesting I haven’t gone shopping in town with Bella in months. She rode in the pram as we walked into town. As we made it to Sainsbury’s I came over really dizzy so decided it might be a good idea to pop into the shop and get something to bring my sugar level up. We wandered down to the snack and the drink aisle. We grabbed a few snacks and then we picked up two Hydro Fruitshoots. I actually quite like them and thought it would be a bit better for me than a coke.
Between the drink aisle and the checkouts Bella was driving me made, she kept trying to walk away, was constantly walking in front of the pram and making me have to swerve to miss her.
When we got to the checkout the annoyance continued. Every item I scanned. Bella played with. She was picking stuff up and leaning on the scales. Which meant every item was followed with one of those irritating ‘unexpected item in bagging area’ or ‘please place item in bagging area’ It was driving me crazy. And the annoyances didn’t stop, when it came time to pay I hunted through my bag for my bank card but nope! I’d switched handbags this morning and obviously left my bank card in my original handbag. Thankfully I had enough change in my purse to cover the shopping and what we’d came into town for.
We quickly walked up to Wilkos to pick up the fuse wire we needed. Thankfully I managed to find some in the dark depths of Wilkos. We quickly paid and then walked home.
I was exhausted by the time I got home. The time I really wish Bella would walk and she refuses. It sucks living on top of a hill. Once I made it up our drive, Bella knocked on the door so Liam could answer and I folded up the pram so I could throw it back in the back of the car. Liam helped me carry all the shopping in – not that it was much. B
Bella wanted to play with Playdough. She had asked me on the way home and I was happy for her to sit up to the table and play if Liam was happy for that while he played on the Playstation. He was going to fix the fuse anyway so she was able to sit at the table and not get in Liam’s way.
It was great once Liam had fixed the lights. We now have lights upstairs again. Yay!
I’m trying something different for dinner today. I saw on Facebook a recipe for lasanga pockets and wanted to give it a go. So I made my normal spag bol and then used fresh pasta sheets to make the pockets adding white sauce and cheese along the way. While I was making the lasanga pockets I also made a lasanga for Daly to have at work.
So for dinner we had lasagna pockets, chips and peas. And it was pretty good. A few little tweaks needed for the lasanga pockets and we’re thinking it might be worth trying to make my own pasta sheets. Let’s see how that goes next time.
Wednesday 9th December – A long day!
I had to get up very early today and I wasn’t too happy about it but I suppose it was at least for a good reason. My new cooker is being delivered today. Woohoo! Double oven for Christmas. Now we had been messaged to say that the first gas man of the day was going to be here any time before 7am and 10am. So I woke up at 6.30am and decided to make some use of that time. I finished up tidying the kitchen and then set about doing some other chores as I didn’t want to fall asleep on the sofa.
The man actually came at about 8.30am. Not too bad except he wanted to be able to get to the gas meter so I had to wake Liam up to help me move all the stuff in the garage out of the way. The biggest problem trying to down size during a pandemic is having plenty of black bags full of charity shop stuff, I mean half our garage at the moment. But because of the pandemic charity shops are either not excepting stuff, they keep going on lockdown, or they are only excepting a limited amount of stuff and I have half a garage that needs to go. I don’t want to just throw all this stuff away as it’s such a waste. Anyway Liam and I shifted all the stuff so the gas man could get to the meter.
After our old cooker had been disconnected it was time for our new cooker to be delivered. The new cooker turned up just after 12pm. They brought in the new cooker, unpackaged it all and even took away the old cooker.
I soon received a phone call asking if the cooker had been delivered. When I informed our second gas man the cooker had been delivered he told me he’d be round in about half an hour to fit our new cooker in. In that short time Liam, the god send he is, cleaned out where our old cooker had been sat. He did an epic job as well.
About an hour after the cooker was delivered the second gas man came to fit the cooker for us. It took a while but eventually it was fitted and he showed me how to use it. It turns out it is pretty easy to use. It’s similar to the cooker we have when we go away and stay in the caravan.
Now even though the cooker was fully fitted and functioning by 3pm we still had McDonalds for dinner. I hadn’t been feeling too great in the afternoon and Bella and I had ended up chilling out in my bedroom watching films. Liam had ended up having a nap as well so none of us seemed really in the mood to interact.
I eventually placed the order with McDonalds and Just Eat. Bella and I enjoyed our McDonalds downstairs. And after his nap Liam came down and joined us as well.
Thursday 10th December – Mum’s Birthday
Today is mums birthday which means my mood is pretty low. We had a fairly low key day.
We had a Christmas film day. Bella wanted to dress up in her Mrs Claus dress and enjoyed dancing round the living room. I introduced her to Disney’s new Christmas film, Noelle. It’s actually pretty good and Bella seemed to enjoy it.
While Bella was enjoying all the Christmas films I thought I should sort out some of Bella’s old Christmas outfits and sell them on face bay. I love getting Bella Christmas outfits but very rarely can I make it last from one Christmas to the other.
Bella spent a lot of the day playing with her babies. She likes to pull the cot and bath out and spends the day looking after her baby and putting it to bed. Occasionally asking me to look after her baby. She is such a good mummy.
Like a said a pretty chilled out day. We didn’t do anything else today.
Friday 11th December – Suffering badly with tiredness
This morning Daly didn’t go to sleep at all so instead he was waking up with me and going to drop us off at nursery. Normally we walk but not today, Daly had offered to drive us as he was awake.
We dropped Bella off at nursery and then headed home for a little bit, I was waiting for someone to come up to pick up some of the Christmas clothes I had sold. We needed to do a food shop but after the person had collected to clothes I went back upstairs to bed and crashed out for a bit. I’ve been so tired recently and need to try and have a nap once a day. I normally avoid them when Bella is at nursery because Daly can be a bit unaware of the time and I’m always scared we’re going to miss picking up Bella but today I was just too tired.
We decided we were going to pick up Bella and then go shopping. She enjoys shopping and I also thought she could pick out a present for her nursery teachers for Christmas. We picked up Bella and she jumped in the car with lots of things she had made. She had also been given a chocolate lolly by her key worker. I told her she could have her lolly once we got home.
We made it to the shop and to try and get things go a little quicker we split up to grab the items on the shopping list. Bella picked which parent she wanted to go with – turned out it was mostly daddy. I don’t seem to get a look in when Daly is off work but I can’t complain, at the beginning of the year Bella never wanted to spend time with him.
The love continued on into the evening. They ended up curled up together on the sofa and daddy even put Bella to bed. I love the relationship those two have grown over lockdown one and two.
Saturday 12th December – TV Day
Today was another lazy day. Daly was off work but we didn’t really do anything. He did however have to put up with my Saturday night TV. First up was Celebrity Catchphrase. This has become a bit of a household favourite, we all end up playing and guessing away. It’s good fun. I used to play Catchphrase and Family Fortunes with Leanne while I was at uni. Good fun way to spend our Saturday nights.
It’s always good fun when us three adults are all shouting at the TV together different answers. It’s especially funny when someone shouts a stupid or wrong answers.
We also watched The Chase and Supermarket Sweep. I used to love watching Supermarket sweep when I was younger and I have great fun playing The Chase and shouting answers at the TV.
A nice chilled out way to spend a Saturday.
Sunday 13th December – Card Making
I didn’t feel so great when I woke up this morning. I ended up curling up on the sofa in the living room and dozing most of the morning. Daly and Liam had offered to help me out for the day so I could rest. Which kinda worked except Daly woke up with a migraine so didn’t stay up for long he ended up crawling upstairs back into bed.
Bella and I stayed downstairs. I wasn’t feeling up to putting up with Nick Jr or Netflix playing the same thing all day so instead we watched CBeebies. I dozed on and off while Bella played and watched the tv.
I had received an email from Bella’s nursery saying they were closing a day early so I wanted to make sure Bella had a card and gift for her teachers. Luckily we had already picked up some chocolate for her teachers that Bella had chosen. So we needed to make a card.
We had already painted a few during the week but we needed to add some bits to it. So we curled up on the floor with some glitter, glue and glitter glue. First Bella some glue to make some glittery stars using the gold glitter, and then we added a glittery red nose on the reindeer. Once we’d finished with the glitter Bella wanted to use the glitter glue.
She gave the reindeer green hooves, blue antlers and then added some silver clouds in the sky. Once she’d finished we put the card to one side to dry.
While the card was drying Bella and I cuddled up on the sofa to watch CBeebies. I know on Sundays they tend to reshow their special shows and pantomimes so I wondered if they’d play any this weekend. It turns out their weren’t any of those sort of shows on but they were showing the cartoon of the fire dragon – think John Lewis Christmas advert. It was a cute show and it was nice to cuddle up with Bella and watch something Christmasy like that.
After dinner Bella and I sat down and I got her to write the inside of her Christmas card to her teachers. Well what she actually wrote was her name and I wrote the message that she wanted to send to her teachers. Once it was finished I made sure to put in on the side to remember it in the morning.
Monday 14th December – Still not feeling great
Today is her last day at nursery before they break up for Christmas. Man she’s growing up too fast. We got up and ready like normal and then walked to nursery. Like usual we had the argument that she didn’t want to go but then she started saying she missed her friends which meant I was able to easily persuade her to carry on walking to nursery. When we got to nursery we handed over Bella’s presents and in she went happily into nursery.
On the walk home I wasn’t feeling too great so went home to sleep. Daly was getting up early as one of the cars had an MOT. I however ended up crashing out on the bed as I felt so tired. Because Daly was getting up for the MOT I didn’t have to worry about making sure he was awake in time.
After the MOT and the car passed Daly came home for a little bit to chill before going and picking up Bella. Bless her when Bella came home she had a bell for the jingle on Christmas Eve and a yule log she had decorated. She really wanted to eat it but thankfully she let me take a photo of it first. She’s so speedy nower days I often end up missing out on taking photos. Have to be on the ball with Bella.
Once she’d finished her yule log Bella pulled out her Toot Toot castle and laid out on the floor playing with all her little characters including the princess and the knight. I have to say that is one of Bella’s favourite toys she ever got.
I do apologise for the radio silence. Unless you follow my Instagram I’ve been active on there. My aim was to complete Blogmas with a blog for every week over Christmas but we had a family situation that came up that ground that to a halt. We are all ok and I’m currently working on a blog to explain everything that caused the lack of blogs.
I really hope that everyone had as good a Christmas as they could with the current climate and enjoyed New Year. I have to say we had a lovely quiet New Year with Daly and I spending time together curled up on the sofa and me forcing him to watch Teen Wolf – love it. I also really enjoyed the New Year fireworks in London. To be honest I always love the fireworks but this year especially with the drones, except all I could think about was Spider Man Far From Home. I was seriously waiting for the drones to blow up London.
Anyways hopefully once the blog I’m currently working on is complete and uploaded I can try and get back into some form of routine.
I’ve set myself the challenge to stay up to date with Blogmas. I’ve been pretty bad at blogging this year – although who can blame me, there’s only so many times you can type I stayed in my pyjamas all day and watched Netflix. However with all the Christmas fun in the run up I think I should be able to at least write something everyday. Also because of all the trouble I’ve had with keeping on top of my blogs I’m not doing daily blogmas I’m sticking to weekly. I think I’ll be able to manage that a bit better. So here we go! Week One!
Tuesday 1st December 2020 – A letter for Father Christmas
It’s the first of December. Christmas is officially coming. We’ve already put our tree up (we did that at the beginning of November I think) Well Rachel put it up like tradition. Daly wasn’t happy about the tree going up so early but he’s at work most of the time so he can jog on. Lol I’m home all the time.
Bella and I had a snuggly morning on the sofa watching Nick Jr. Like normal. Well I say we had a snuggly time, I got up with Bella and we snuggled up on the sofa together under the duvet and I went to sleep. Bella doesn’t mind though she will either cuddle up under the duvet at the other end or sit on top of me.
After lunch we decided to open Bella’s advent calendars. She has 3 this year. We bought her a Frozen one with lots of accessories in it as I loved her advent calendar from last year. I’m not a huge fan of the chocolate ones. I think the toy ones are way better. However when we went shopping and looked at the advent calenders Bella told us she wanted a Kinder one and we had a bit of a tantrum when we wouldn’t buy it there and then. Because she had wanted a Kinder one as well as her accessory one we bought I went and got her one. Daly had ended up bringing another home for Bella that he had received from his Grandparents. So Bella has three calendars, two Kinder ones and a Frozen one.
We opened her chocolate ones first. Then moved on to the Frozen one. Now the Kinder one Bella can get into by herself but I have to pretty much open it for her. Today Bella received a snowflake hair clip in her Frozen calendar.
After lunch and advent calendars we watched Barbie in the Nutcracker. Bella really enjoys the Barbie films and it’s nice that she’s been watching this one as it’s a Christmas film. While the film is playing Bella loves dancing around the living room and practicing her ballet moves. I was busy finishing up a few jobs that I needed to get done. I’ve been trying to stay on top of all the house work to save myself so much hassle.
When I’d finished all the housework and Barbie in the Nutcracker Bella sat down to help me write my cards. I have already written all my family Christmas cards and wanted Bella to add her own touch to some of the family cards. We set up her little chair with a table, her crayons and I handed her the cards as we went.
It started with her drawing little pictures in the cards before she tried to copy my writing and add her own. She drew Daddy as Santa in one and Nana as a fairy in another.
We didn’t get many cards done. I mean Bella is only three and doesn’t have a very long attention span, so I think it’s going to take us a few days to get them all completed and sent off to everyone.
Bella had already written her Christmas list over the weekend. She cut out items she wanted out of the Smyths catalogue and then we glue them to her letter for Father Christmas. She worked very hard on her list and once she’d finished gluing all the pictures on she even tried to write her name at the end. I’m really impressed with how good she is getting at writing letters, especially the letter a. She’s very good at that one.
And once all her items were glued on to her list she decorated the envelope with stickers.
Before we put the letter in the envelope we took the traditional photo of Bella in front of the Christmas tree with her Christmas List. She was actually willing to play ball and didn’t argue at all. I think she’s quite excited to send her letter.
After dinner we wrapped up warm and headed down to the post box. We walked down to the post box. It wasn’t to closest one to us as I wanted to show Bella some of the houses decorated in Christmas lights. She really liked a night time walk and pointed out lots of Christmas lights. We eventually made it to the post box and it was time to post.
We had brought some of the family cards with us that were ready to post as well as Bella’s letter to Father Christmas. Turns out the post box we had gone to was also the right height for Bella to post them by herself. She posted the family cards and then it was time for Father Christmas’ letter.
On the walk home Bella and I discussed pets. Apparently Bella wants a cat, a dog and a horse. Of course she wanted a horse. It’s the traditional pet every little girl asks for. I sent Daly a video of Bella asking for all these animals. He replied with a no to the horse.
Wednesday 2nd December 2020 – Advent calendar problems
We had a pretty productive day today. First things first was a trip to the doctors for me. It was time for my B12 jab. I walked down to the doctors listening to my music. I love just walking and enjoying my music. I was a little early for my appointment but because of how quiet the doctors is now I was alone in the waiting room. I mean most appointments are by phone so there is hardly anyone there. I was called in pretty quickly and went round to see the nursery.
Man did the jab hurt this time. I mean it killed. I must of forgotten how much it hurt or because the flu jab was the last jab I had and that didn’t hurt so much so maybe I thought it was going to feel like that again. Normally after my B12 I find I’m very tired. I tend to go back home and crash out on the sofa for hours so instead of heading to pick up some bits from the shops I went straight home.
However when I got home I felt pretty good and Bella wanted to do some painting so we sat up at the table and I got out some Christmas decorations for Bella to paint. She had a lovely time choosing her colours and painting the different decorations.
She was very good at her painting. She made an effort to paint different parts like painting a tree green and adding red baubles. Out of the ten decorations she had to paint Bella only wanted to paint five so I put the rest to one side so we can paint them another day.
It was a pretty chilled day after that. We watched a few films. I didn’t want to do too much in case I suddenly crashed.
That afternoon when we opened Bella’s advent calendar she found an olaf ring behind door number 2. Surprisingly Bella actually knows what the number 2 looks like and showed me all the 2s on her advent calendar.
I spent my early evening sorting out a few cupboards – we’ve got a new oven turning up so I thought it was a great time to do some sorting. Especially of the oven trays. Turns out I discovered a whole load of bits I didn’t even know we still had and managed to get rid of a few bits. When I moved on to the tupperware cupboard Bella came out to me with some chocolate from her other advent calendars. Turned out she’d been opening extra doors so now her calendars are being kept out of her reach so she doesn’t end up pulling out all the chocolate.
Thursday 3rd December 2020 – Christmas nesting
This morning we received a package. I knew we were expecting one but I wasn’t sure when it would arrive. It turned up today at 8.30am. Good thing Bella wakes me up early. Once I’d received the package Bella and I sat in the living room to open it. I knew who it was from – my aunt and uncle from Wiltshire. We opened it up and first read the letter that had been included. Inside were cards for Rachel and I as well as presents for each of us. There was also a present for Bella along with a book for her and a fairy door to make. I told her we could make the door later and so she curled up on the floor and read through the book. It was a Mr. Man book and Bella kept asking who all the characters were.
We had another chilled day. Daly is off work for two days now and it seems to add to our go slow day. So another day curled up on the sofa under a duvet – I can not get warm at the moment. We keep turning the heating right up and wearing layers of clothes under blankets and I hurt with how cold I am. The thing is normally the cold effects my narcolepsy and can trigger attacks but I’ve actually had no problems. I’m just cold.
In Bella’s advent calendar today was another ring. Today a pretty purple heart one.
That afternoon Daly and I made a quick run over to the next town to pick up Bella’s main Christmas present that we’d had delivered to her Godfathers. We didn’t know how it was going to come packaged so we didn’t want to risk Bella seeing what she was getting. Especially as it’s something she’s wanted for ages. It was so stupid how long it took us to get there and back though. Considering it’s only a 7 mile journey one way it took us nearly 45 minutes to get there and closer to an hour to get home, it was a joke.
Because of how long it took us to get home I had to make quick changes to dinner. I was going to make lasagne but I had no where near enough time. So it was a quick throw in the oven to cook – not that easy though, our oven is broken and we can not change the gas temperature in the oven section of the cooker. Not fun.
That evening Daly gave Bella a bath and then I put her to bed. We read the Nutcracker tonight. Bella seems to love this story so it was nice to read it to her.
Daly and Liam were having a gaming night tonight. Although I caught Daly playing with Bella’s toys at one point.
While the boys played I went upstairs to watch some Netflix and once again went through all the presents I had bought. I have a habit of doing that a lot. I suppose I could compare it to nesting when your pregnant – although my nesting never kicked in until Bella was actually born. I spent my whole time in the hospital packing and repacking our bags and rearranging things. And every year at Christmas I do the same thing with presents. I rearrange how I’ve sorted and packed them. I constantly check and recheck my shopping lists and make sure I’ve got everything. I need to stop though because I just feel like I want to carry on shopping. Not good, I end up over spending big time at Christmas constantly thinking I haven’t bought people enough.
Friday 4th December 2020 – We had snow!
Daly woke me up stupidly early this morning. He woke me up about 4.30am just to show me it was snowing. He had a mini freak out about how he was going to get to work if it settled – not likely where we live, it rarely does. After his freak out and he finally decided to come to bed I ended up staying awake. I mean I was wide awake. Now because of the risk of snow I decided it might help to prep Bella. We haven’t had snow since her first birthday but I like to make sure she at least has a snow suit and I thought some snow boots could be a good idea because we’d still be walking to nursery even in the snow. I managed to find her some snow boots (a little big but they should last and I find bigger is better because of toasty socks) and I also found her a snow suit. Well I say snow suit its a coat and then snow trousers/dungarees so I thought they’d be great for her.
I got up at half 7 and set about my usual nursery morning routine. Making Bella’s lunch, having a coffee and finding her clothes. I made sure she had some nice warm trousers so she didn’t get cold at nursery. I woke Bella up at 8 and we got ready to go. Bella wanted daddy to walk to nursery with us this morning and he had said if it was raining he would drive us to work so she went upstairs to wake him. I’m guessing the excitement of snow didn’t get him out of bed.
Bella and I walked to nursery with her all wrapped up – it was freezing. The snow had nearly completely left. I said it wouldn’t last long so maybe panic buying at 5am wasn’t needed but it might come in handy. On the way to nursery we have to cross the road using a pelican crossing. I have been teaching Bella how blind people cross the roads using these type of crossing. I showed her the little metal button type thing under the crossing button box and showed her that when it starts spinning it’s telling you the green man has popped up and it’s safe to cross.
She finds this so interesting she now does this everytime we go to nursery.
While Bella was at nursery Daly and I did the weekly food shop and I have to say Food Warehouse was an absolutely failure. I didn’t manage to get hardly any of the frozen foods I needed so an emergency text to Rachel was shot to pick up the main bits I was missing. She is a god send!
That afternoon I curled up in bed to do a bit of reading in the hopes I’d doze off. Daly went to pick up Bella and when she came home she came and joined me upstairs in bed. I popped a film on for her and she left me to sleep. She is such a good girl when mummy needs her sleep.
Once we’d finally all woken up Bella wanted to open her advent calendar. Today, behind door number 4 was a hair clip.
Turns out after dinner Bella forgot who I was. Bella was not interested in me at all. Daly got her ready for bed. They had a little play about on the sofa and then Bella wanted Daly to take her to bed. So he took her up and they went through her usual bedtime routine. As it’s Friday she’s aloud her TV.
And when the DVD player didn’t play the DVD it was daddy that Bella called not me. Feeling a bit rejected but I’m glad Bella was enjoying time with her dad.
Saturday 5th December 2020 – We’re all sleepy today
I woke up to a surprise this morning. Bella was in bed with us. And not only that she was cuddled up with Daly. Normally she gets into bed with us, pushes daddy away and says ‘no, my mummy!’ But nope.
I didn’t even realise she’d gotten into bed with us. She’d woken up in the night and spent some time with Daly while he was playing on the PlayStation and then he’d brought us to bed with us. However as soon as she woke up she was mummy’s girl again.
We headed downstairs to curl up on the sofa. I was still very tired so dozed one end of the sofa while Bella watched Nick Jr and played with her toys. As the day went on Bella wanted to watch a Christmas film so we headed over to Now TV to see what film she fancied watching. Turns out she really wanted to watch the Grinch so I popped it on.
Liam was still asleep on the sofa and Daly was asleep in bed. I snuggled back down on the sofa to watch the film and Bella came and joined me. She cuddled down under the duvet with me and it turned out she must have been pretty tired. Both of us ended up falling asleep during the film.
Eventually Daly woke up and so did I and Liam. Bella however was still asleep on the sofa. She woke up before Daly headed off to work.
We opened up her advent calendar and today was another hair clip. This time very much the blue and purple frozen colours.
The rest of the day was pretty chilled. Saturday means normal TV either ITV or BBC. So Bella pulled out her little watering can house and played with her little characters. Liam cooked us dinner and we enjoyed pizza over Catchphrase.
After dinner and Bella had gone to bed I settled down to get some blogging done. I’m determined to keep up with blogmas. I can do it! It’s something to aim for before the end of 2020.
Sunday 6th December 2020– A quick trip into town
This morning I woke up before everyone, although when I went into Bella her TV was on and her DVD was playing but she was asleep. I headed downstairs and curled up on the sofa watching TV. When Bella woke up she was a bit panicked because she couldn’t find me but I called up to her and she soon appeared with all her toys.
I suggested watching a Christmas film together and snuggling down. She wanted to watch the Grinch again so we popped in on and cuddled up under the blanket.
After a while Bella wanted to go back upstairs to play and watch her DVD so I set her all up. I had been weighing up going into town. I’ve switched back to decaf tea and we have some here but not much. So I needed to pick some up. I was weighing up if I go into town tomorrow after dropping Bella at nursery or split it in to two journeys and walk into town today and just walk to nursery tomorrow. In the end two trips sounded more managable than one so I sorted myself to head into town. Liam was going to keep an ear out for Bella and Daly was in bed if there was any major crisis.
I took a walk into town and managed to pick up my tin trays for Christmas. I hadn’t actually planned on pick them up but as I saw them I thought I’d take my chance and buy them now. I did manage to pick up what I had gone into town for – some decaf tea bags. I made my way back home and Bella was still in her room playing.
When Bella reappeared from her room we had a few little jobs to do. I still had a few cards Bella needed to sign so I got her to sit down with me and write her cards while I added tags and bows to Leanne’s Christmas presents. I had ordered some tags off of Amazon as I didn’t feel the ones I had matched the wrapping paper I had.
The rest of the afternoon I had to coax my shadow away from me. I can not seem to get away from Bella at the moment. She is constantly on me or following me everywhere. So to try and find her something to do. At nursery she has been enjoying loose parts so I raided mums study to see what little bits I could find her to play with. I found her polystyrene shapes, buttons, bells, ribbons and leaves. I placed them all on a tray for her to play with while I headed to the kitchen to cook dinner.
Tonight, after dinner, I decided to bust out the wrapping. I have so much to do and I just feel I need to get the wrapping out of the way. I want to be able to enjoy Christmas and normally I love wrapping but this year I’ve been putting it off because I love wrapping so much but now I’m like it needs to be done and out of the way.
Monday 7th December 2020 – Finished my wrapping
I woke up at my usual 7.30am on a Monday morning. I got up a did my normal routine before waking Bella up for nursery. The only thing that has really changed from our normal nursery routine is because it’s cold Bella is wearing her hat at nursery meaning she needs a hair style that works with it. So we have to get ready earlier so I can french plait her hair. She looks so cute with french plaits.
It was a bit misty on our walk to nursery and cold but we were ok. Bella helped me post the last few Christmas cards on our way so at least that is one job I can tick off my list as being complete. Christmas cards are done. As we walked to nursery Bella argued with me continuously that she didn’t want to go – pretty much our normal argument but I know she loves it once she’s there so I know that she’s benefiting from going.
Once I’d got home from the nursery run I started with the Christmas wrapping again. I especially needed to get Bella’s presents wrapped. I managed to get Daly’s, Liam’s, Rachel’s, and Oli’s wrapped last night. I just needed to get everyone elses wrapped so that was my task for today. I managed to get all but the stockings done by lunch time.
Liam had offered to have a look at our kitchen light to see if it was a loose wire that was causing it not to work. Sadly it wasn’t, Liam had to take down the whole unit and we needed to get a new fixture as I was sitting there with wires dangling out of my ceiling. I tried to wake Daly up to get him to take me to go to Wickes so we could get a new light. We’d looked at a few in Wickes and Daly needed to wake up anyway to pick up Bella, however he was having none of it. Instead I went online and ordered the light using click and collect. So that afternoon we sat around waiting for a text from Wickes to say my light was ready to collect.
Eventually it was time to go to pick up Bella and just as we were about to leave I received the text. So we headed to nursery, picked up Bella and then headed to Wickes. I quickly ran in and collected our light and then headed back home to Liam with a light.
While Liam was hiding in the kitchen playing with a light and I carried on wrapping presents. Daly had to leave while Liam was wiring the light in and we had to turn the power off so we didn’t get electrocuted. It was getting dark so I had to go and hunt out some torches for us and Bella was playing on my phone as there isn’t much you can do in the pitch black.
Liam and I managed to fit the light thank god. However the fuse for the downstairs lights had blown so Liam switched the fuses over from the upstairs to the downstairs lights so at least I would have lights to cook by and in the living room. We hunted around for replacement fuse but after a quick Google we realised we needed some fuse wire as the fuses are ancient in this house. We then hunted for replacement fuse wire. Turns out we didn’t have any of that either. So I’m taking a trip into town tomorrow to pick some up.
Once we had stopped playing with lights and I’d found Christmas lights and plug in lights for the bedrooms upstairs it was time to cook dinner. I had planned on doing lasagna but didn’t have enough time so instead I cooked our favourite sausage pasta. It’s basically sausages, onions, chopped tomatoes and chilli powder with pasta.
While I was cooking I also decided to get a bit of meal prepping for Daly’s dinners out the way so also made a sausage casserole and mash that I can store for him. It seemed to go pretty well. I’m getting good as this meal prepping.
Bella went to bed nice and easily with her pretty fairy lights. It was a bit of a novelty for her. Especially as the lights in her room are multicoloured. The rest of the lights we have in the house are all one colour.
I hope everyone is having a good count down to Christmas and is staying safe.
So excited. We discovered Halloween at Kent Life last year. Kent Life is a great farm/attraction near Maidstone in Kent and we love it. I want membership because Bella loves going so much. Anyways last year we came down to Kent Life on a whim during the school holiday and they go full out for Halloween. We were a little unprepared though. This year, however we were ready for it. Bella had chosen her halloween costume – wanting to be a pumpkin this year. I also booked the tickets as soon as I saw them go on sale. I knew it was probably going to be popular as it was packed this year and with all the Covid rules in place I knew they would be restricting numbers on site. And boy am I glad I did. A week before the day we were going I discovered that almost every day during half term was fully booked. It was a good thing I booked our tickets in September. Also a good thing the second lockdown hadn’t been announced yet.
The morning started pretty well although I felt completely unorganised. Rachel turned up just after 10 so she helped me get organised. I packed up some spare clothes for Bella, some snacks and made sure I had the tickets. Rachel had to keep reassuring me that I had everything I needed. Bella was dressed in her pumpkin costume. The main reason we had bought her a Halloween costume this year. We packed up the car with the pram and coats as I figured it was going to be cold.
It had taken 3 attempts to print off the tickets last night. Everytime I’d printed one off and walked away from the printer Bella would grab them and drew all over it. Eventually I managed to print off the tickets without Bella drawing on it. I had also printed off a map for all the trick or treating venues around the farm and the list of events for the day.
We headed off to the farm and my anxiety was still really high and I still felt unprepared but we had to go with it. There was nothing I could do about it now.
We were hoping it wasn’t as busy as last year. I mean I figured there would be less people due to Covid and the limited tickets so we were hoping we wouldn’t end up parked in a field. It wasn’t too busy, but there were still enough people which meant we weren’t in the top car park. Instead we parked under the trees by the river. Something I’d never noticed before and we’ve been there a few times.
We got out, loaded up the pram and headed up to the entrance. We made sure we had our masks as they were required in the enclosed areas of the farm. As we walked up Rachel decided to make friends with all the donkeys. Bella was a bit weary about going over to the fence but she eventually joined her.
After being checked in at the gate we decided to hit cuddle corner first. We were on the hunt for ghosts with letters on them. We had to find 10 out of 11 last year which was a mission. When we had come in the summer we had to find sheep and failed big time so this time we were determined to find them all. There weren’t any in cuddle corner and the farm yard but we tried lol.
In cuddle corner we saw chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and a tortoise. Bella wasn’t too interested in the tortoise but she liked the rabbit and pointed out the guinea pigs to Rachel as she has some at home.
Then we headed into the farmyard. As soon as we stepped outside Bella wanted to feed the goats. We had bought two packets of animal feed at the gate so we were prepared. However the goats had been over fed so there were signs everywhere telling us we weren’t allowed to feed them. Bella was upset but she enjoyed looking at all the animals.
After saw the goats. Bella and Rachel headed down to the pig stys to she the pig – who was asleep like normal.
We then headed over to the otherside of the farmyard. There were the ponies and the sheep. Rachel picked Bella up to see the sheep. Bella also wanted to feed the ponies but your not able to feed them. Bella was upset but she stroked them instead with Rachel.
After washing our hands we left the farm yard, retrieved the pram and started off up the hill to find the owls and meerkats. Before we headed to the owls we went and looked at the little huts the hop pickers used to live in. Rachel pulled out the stilts they used to use as it tradition to give them a go. I’ve got photos of mum having a go with them the first time we ever came to Kent Life. We also found a range of halloween decorations decorating these huts, it was really great to see.
We walked up through the owls and birds of prey and at the end we found the meerkats. It was so funny they had been given some plastic body parts for them to play with and join in the halloween theme. Bella really liked the meerkats. They were always one of mum’s favourite animals to look at.
Once we’d seen the meerkats, we walked up the hill to see if we could find any ghosts with letters on and also so Bella could actually feed some goats. As we came to the top of the hill we found a ghost next to the blacksmiths. We also found the group of inflatable pumpkins. We had taken a photo with the pumpkins last year so we had to get one this year with our very own pumpkin.
We carried on round to the goats and this time Bella needed no encouragement to feed them. I still hate feeding them but Bella and Rachel had fun. Bella liked the little brown/orange goats.
We were getting a bit hungry but the queue for the little cafe was so long and obviously as places are limited on eating inside or even not opening up at all and there weren’t any table available. Instead we headed back to the main part of the grounds to carry on looking for the ghosts in the hope that would kill some time before we could actually go and have some lunch.
We were really struggling with finding the ghosts, I mean we tried everywhere. We even tried around the hen coops. We even came across areas we’d never explored before. We found turkeys – which Bella really liked and a cute little well that was hidden. It would be perfect for a cute autumn photoshoot.
We still weren’t able to find many ghosts but we thought we’d have a look in their creepy critter corner. It was upstairs in one of the farm buildings. I was a little confused where I was going, Rachel had to point out the arrows to me on the floor. We made our way through to the animals and saw lots of different creatures, including frogs, snakes, rats, spiders and even a skunk.
We headed back outside and thought we should see if we could get some lunch. We queued up outside the tearoom waiting for our turn to go in and order. Bella was playing with the leaves on the floor while we were waiting. Eventually we moved down the line and it was our turn to enter to order. We bought Bella a little kids lunch box as I wasn’t quite sure what else I could get her. Rachel ordered her lunch and I decided on a baked potato with cheese and beans to warm me up. We got our food and went and sat outside on a bench. The weather was a bit cold and gloomy but it wasn’t wet – yet.
While we were eating I was looking at the horizon in the distance and could see miserable grey clouds coming our way with the misty look that make it obvious that it’s raining. It had been raining on and off all day but I was hoping we’d be able to eat our lunch in peace. It turns out not quite.
Although we were sat under a tree that didn’t provide the greatest amount of shelter. Bella luckily had her pram so dived in there with the hood up to continue her lunch while Rachel decided to use the rain cover as a hat. I knew I had forgotten something. I should have brought an umbrella.
We finished our lunch and it looked like the weather was easing so we headed up the hill towards where the majority tricking or treating was taking place. We still had a bit of animal food with us and we were about 30 minutes early to trick or treat so Rachel and Bella fed the goats to use up the rest of the food. Just as they finished the heavens opened and it was a downpour. Luckily we were up near the little church and thankfully it was open so we ducked inside. Seems a few families had the same idea as us but we all stuck to ourselves in our little family groups.
Soon 2 o’clock hit and it was time to trick or treat. We went and lined up for the first house. The queues were pretty long but everyone social distanced. Rachel was going up with Bella to the doors while I took photos. Bella was a little weary of knocking on the doors but with Rachel’s help she managed it.
We visited the three houses at the top of the hill and received her treats then we headed back down the hill to the last house.
At the last house, the member of staff hiding inside was (we think) the same member of staff who was in the farm area last year for the trick or treating. He is brilliant. He is so scary, properly plays the part trying to scare the kids but he seems to always have an eye on whoever is next in the queue for his door to see how there going to react and changes his performance correctly. He opened the door scaring the kids in front of us but they seemed all for the act. But he had obviously seen Bella’s reaction behind them and when it was her turn to knock instead of opening the door shouting whose knocking, what do you want? He opened the door gently, crouched down to her level and talked nicely to her, making her feeling comfortable. Last year he lifted his mask up to show her he wasn’t a scary skeleton but obviously this year he couldn’t. He alone is the reason to trick or treat at Kent Life. Completely worth it.
After the trick or treating it was time to head home. Well we actually popped to do a little bit of shopping before heading home. We had a great day and it was lovely to do something a bit normal after all the lockdown and restrictions.
I’m sorry this is going up nearly a month late but here it is.
We had arranged with Jess to go today. We had two options, either go to the farm near us today before they sell out of pumpkins or visit one of the Pumpkin Moon sites as they have tickets allocated. We’d decided that today worked better for us. Joe was able to come with us so I was going to be able to do family photos of the pair of them with their daughter.
Bella had ballet this morning, it was certificate day and she was allowed to dress in her halloween costume. That was handy though as we had thought about going pumpkin picking in their halloween costumes. It meant I didn’t have to get her changed after ballet.
Joe and Jess turned up shortly after we had returned home from ballet. Jess and I chatted for a little bit while Joe and Liam ran an errand. Jess got her little girl dressed into her cute witches costume and I went and got changed into something more appropriate for walking in a muddy, cold field. Once Rosie was all dressed in her costume Jess tried to take some photos, the only problem was she was not playing ball with the little witch headband that had come with her outfit. Jess managed to get a few though before completely giving up with the headband.
Bella had dressed as a witch last halloween so I went and hunted out her witches hat. I thought if she wasn’t willing to wear a headband she might keep the hat on long enough to take some photos. Turns out I was right. I managed to get some cute photos of Rosie and then Liam and Joe returned.
As Joe was back we thought we should make a move to the farm and go pick our pumpkins. I had been charging all my camera batteries all morning so I made sure I had enough charge for the photos and I actually managed to find all of my memory cards for my camera. I made sure I packed them in my bag and then we loaded up my car. Although the farm isn’t too far a walk from mine, I thought two little people and pumpkins might be a little much for us to carry back so the car would be a handy mode of transport.
We pulled up at the farm and man was it busy. It seems the pandemic has made everyone go pumpkin mad. I’ve always managed to go a couple of days before halloween and there’s still tons of pumpkins left and no crowds. But today was insane. We were directed to a space in one of the fields off to the side of the pumpkins and we climbed out. We headed over to the shop to collect a wheelbarrow. There were no wheelbarrows left but there were a few wagon/trailer sort of things.
It was a bit gutting it wasn’t a wheelbarrow because it meant Rosie couldn’t ride with Bella but Bella had fun riding on it while Joe pushed.
We walked into the field to see if we could find a pumpkin. There weren’t too many left around but there were still some good ones. Joe found a pretty decent sided pumpkin and he and Rosie had fun looking at it. She wanted to pick it up but the pumpkin was pretty much the same size as her.
We picked that pumpkin up and placed in the tray on the wagon. Bella set off through the field with Jess and I on the hunt for her pumpkin. Bella had decided she didn’t want a very big one, in fact she wanted a small one this year. We had a look at a few but Bella still wasn’t happy.
Finally we found Bella’s pumpkin. It wasn’t a big pumpkin but thankfully it wasn’t too small. We’d still be able to carve it. Once we finally had our pumpkins we took a few family pics, Bella and I and Joe, Jess and Rosie. It was nice to actually get a nice photo of Bella and I together. That is one of the bonuses when Joe is out with us. He’ll grab the camera off me and grab a few photos of Bella and I, it’s nice I think the last time I have a photo of me taken by someone else is from January when Daly and I went out for date night. Not bad, only 10 months between photos of me.
We took our pumpkins over to the store and paid, while Joe got Rosie into the car. Bella was still having fun riding on the wagon. Once all paid for we loaded the pumpkins into the car and we all set off back to ours.
I have to say we had a great afternoon with the kids. Daly was at work and Joe headed off out to help a friend, so it was just Jess and I with the kids. And it was the nicest I’ve ever seen Bella play with someone much younger than her. Before the kids played though it was lunchtime. Bella wasn’t too happy about Rosie sitting in her travel highchair as she still uses it as a booster seat. Apart from that little hiccup Bella wasn’t too possessive over her stuff.
The kids had a wonderful afternoon. They spent the whole afternoon playing dress up. Bella had pulled out her fancy dress boxes and she spent her time going through all her different costumes. First the girls dressed up as princesses with little crowns and jewelry.
Next Bella found them matching hats to wear. They ended up having to swap though as the original hate Bella had put on Rosie was far to big and she didn’t like it.
At one point they dressed up in sunglasses looking like little rockstars. And their final costume change of the day seemed to be animals – Rosie was a bear and Bella was a bunny.
By the end of the end my living room was trashed and full of toys. We had baby toys everywhere, baby doll bits and fancy dress costumes. The only time we had a little bit of a dispute about toys was when Rosie started playing with Bella’s baby. Bella doesn’t like anyone touching her baby, not even adults. I had noticed Rosie showing an interest in the baby and had told Bella not to panic I was going to fix it but she couldn’t wait so we had a few tears. I found Bella’s other baby doll for Rosie. Bella’s favourite doll is my first Baby Annabell but she also has a my first Baby Born which is almost identical, their just different makes of dolls. So the girls played mums with their babies and it was nice to see Bella playing and sharing. Normally she is not a huge fan of babies but Rosie she loves.
We can’t wait until the girls have their next playdate.
We’ve been doing a bit more walking in the last few weeks, especially walking to nursery. Daly has had my car so we’ve had to walk instead. Thankfully nursery isn’t too far but I have been finding I will walk to nursery, drop Bella off, walk home and then crash out on the sofa until I have to pick her back up. I didn’t realise those walks took so much out of me but it seems they do.
Bella’s been enjoying the walks though. She always asks every time we go out she asks to walk so it’s great that we’ve been able to do it more.
As well as walking to nursery we also took a trip to the farm the other day. It was a nice little walk. As we headed along the road to the farm I pointed out the pumpkin sign on their fence. We always go to the farm for our pumpkin picking and Bella being excited for halloween this helped her excitement.
When we got to the farm we picked up the vegetables we needed and I showed Bella the pumpkin field where we’d be going the following week. We’ve arranged to go pumpkin picking with Joe and Jess’s little girl just before halloween and I’m going to take some photos of them and their little one.
While we were paying for our vegetables Bella spotted the pumpkins that had already been picked and in the shop to buy. I mentioned to the man behind the till that we were coming to pumpkin pick in the middle of the following week but he advised us to come at the weekend as they had already sold half of all their pumpkins the week before.
Bella and I walked home. Bella wanted to race a little bit along the pavement but was then quite happy to walk along holding my hand. I think it was the first time we had done that walk without Bella complaining she was tired. Instead she waited until we were round the corner from our house to ask were we home yet. She is a funny one.
Today we tried some autumn crafts. It seems Bella, every now and then wants to have a crafty day and today was one of those days. Thank god for a Twinkl subscription. I often use Pinterest for ideas but on those days when Bella wants to go crafty on the spur of the moment and I don’t have anything planned Twinkl is a saver. Just log on and print an activity off. I mean we have a Marco Polo subscription and they now do activity packs for each month but that just wasn’t floating Bella’s boat today.
To go with the autumn theme I found some hedgehog activities on Twinkl. I printed off an activity that meant Bella could practice her cutting. She needed to cut out lots of different coloured triangles and then glue them onto the picture of the hedgehog to give him lots of spikes. Bella tried really hard with her cutting. It’s funny because sometimes she is really particular about cutting everything out exactly so there is no white paper and other times she can’t be bothered. Today she couldn’t really be bothered. I showed her she needed to cut the triangles out properly but she wasn’t interested. Oh well.
Once she’d cut all her triangles out she glued them onto her hedgehog. She sat there and carefully added all the spikes and made sure the hedgehog was covered.
When lunch time hit Bella wanted pizzas. We normally have pizzas on a Saturday evening and I don’t have any mini ones in the freezer for a quick meal for Bella. She was adamant she wanted a pizza so we improvised. I had an enchilada kit in the cupboard so I thought Bella could use one of the tortillas as a pizza base. We didn’t have much tomato puree so we made our own. We poured a tin of chopped tomatoes into the blender and then Bella squished in a little bit of tomato puree. We blended it up and then Bella spooned it on to the tortilla.
Once the tomato puree had been spread, she sprinkled on some cheese. We popped it in the over and I sent her off to the living room to play while it cooked.
Her pizza did look pretty tasty when it came out of the oven. I think we’re going to need to make sure we’re always stocked up with the ingredients we need.
That evening we decided to make a hedgehog for Uncle Zach for his birthday. I found the clay out for Bella but it turned out it had dried out completely. To be honest it was probably at least a year old. I had a mini panic that we wouldn’t be able to make the hedgehog but thank god for salt dough. I always make sure I have plenty of salt just incase. I quickly whipped up some salt dough and then we were back on track.
Bella first made a ball with the dough and pinched in a kinda nose for the hedgehog. I sat next to her demonstrating with a ball of salt dough so she had an idea of what to do. Once she had a hedgehog shape she used a pair of scissors to cut in the spikes.
She cut in lots of spikes and then I placed it in the oven to cook while I put Bella to bed. I think we timed that pretty well with the cooking as I was able to get Bella to bed and chill out while it cooked.
The following morning Bella painted her hedgehog. I gave her the choice of orange and brown paint. She had great fun mixing the two together. Her hedgehog looked pretty damn good when it was finished.
The final step was the eyes which we added just before she headed off to give Uncle Zach his present. I think this was a very successful autumn crafts session.
I don’t think I did a photoshoot with Bella last year, I kept planning on it but my mental health tends to go down hill September time so I think I ended up putting it off until it was too late. But this year I made sure I did one. I didn’t have to really buy any props for the shoot this year but I did want to get some LED leaf lights. I managed to find some on Amazon and ordered them ready for the shoot on the first day of autumn.
On the day I pulled out the backdrop I had bought last year for the shoot and set up in the living room. I used my nice Christmas blanket as a kinda flooring for the shoot. One side is really nice and fluffy so I thought it would add to the cozy look I was going for. I found all my props for the shoot – the woodland animals, the leaves and pumpkins. I managed to set up in the living room and then I had the task of getting Bella dressed in her autumn themed outfit for this year. I had bought her a cute deer patterned gilet and I thought it would be ideal for the photos.
Bella was actually pretty willing to join in with the photos today. First we tried some photos with the LED leaves. I do love the photos with fairy lights, I think their always cute and also the room doesn’t have to be too dark to take them.
Once I’d taken the fairy light photos we switched to some with the animals. However it turned out my indoor lighting doesn’t make great photos so I had to go and grab my photography light out of the kitchen – our kitchen light is broken so been using one of my photography lights rather than fixing it. Anyone know a good cheap electrician please let me know.
I set up my lights but Bella was done with the animals by then. So instead we moved on to some fun photos with the autumn leaves. That was a bit of a challenge for me but we managed it. I managed to prop the camera up and set the timer and thankfully I’m able to set it to take several frames at a time. I was actually pretty impressed with the way my photos turned out. I hope you enjoy these photos from our autumn shoot.
I know autumn started a while back. The first official day of autumn was the 22nd of September (also World Narcolepsy Day) and I love autumn. It is absolutely my favourite season.
There are many things that I love about autumn and im sure I’m not the only one. To celebrate the beginning of autumn Bella and I always do a mini photo shoot. It turns out over the years I’ve collected quite a few autumn items. We have stuff toys like foxes, hedgehogs and squirrels. We also have a ridiculous amount of fake autumn leaves and of course a few pumpkins. This year I also bought some led autumn leaves for some cute photos. I just need to find somewhere to put them in the house.
So an autumn photoshoot always starts the season.
I love autumn fashion. I mean for someone who loves to be cozy a season where knits are all the rage is brilliant. My wardrobe is full of knits, I’ve got cozy jumpers and cardigans of all colours. It’s also the season where I pull out my skirts. It seems to be the only time of year I dress girly even though I love girly fashion. I just don’t seem to be able to pull off cute skirts and summer dresses or more I cant be bothered.
I’ve even decorated my house a little bit this year for autumn. I’ve used all the bits I have for my photoshoots and Rachel picked me up some halloween tinsel last year so I’ve placed that in various places around the house. We’ve got pumpkins, leaves and pinecones all over the place. I think it’s really cute. I just wish I had a few autumn candles around the place. I think it would be so cozy.
Who else here loves autumn? Only a few more days though and the count down to Christmas beginnings. Put your hands up if your excited for Christmas this year.
There will be a few more autumn blogs coming but I’m still working out what works for me in the pandemic world as blogging daily wasn’t working and weekly I got far too behind with. We’ll see. Thank you for everyone who is still here
